These shirts are immensely soft and comfortable and are perfect for filling gabions outside Sebastopol, stacking mealie bags at Rorke’s Drift, or running along the walls at Mafeking.

 

This grayback shirt entered service around 1860 and continued to be used in all corners of the Empire until the outbreak of the First World War, when it underwent a number of minor changes.

 

Soft flannel construction with cotton ticking collar. Pullover style with no cuff buttons. Four buttons on front bib. Collar stud included.
