This grayback shirt entered service around 1860 and continued to be used in all corners of the Empire until the outbreak of the First World War, when it underwent a number of minor changes.

 

Soft flannel construction with cotton ticking collar. Pullover style with no cuff buttons. Four buttons on front bib. Collar stud included.
